While I may not be a huge fan of Superman or whatever, there's a good chance that I've heard of many of these "DC Comic Heroes" before ever since I was a kid but I was never really into that kind of stuff unlike many kids were back in the day... But I'm actually interested on how "Avenger" Chuck (AKA the late 90's/2000's one) interviews to this Superman guy within the short-lived CEC comics back in the 2000's. And this is also the same comic series that Chuck interviews with Rodney Copperbottom. Yes, that Rodney Copperbottom from Blue Sky Studio's "Robots" movie back in the day.
As for this post, I'll be doing a "comic script" based off of the pages that I saw an eBay listing of the comic book as I'm writing this out and wanted to do this kind of post for the heck of it... So, here it is!
Chuck E. Chats With Superman From Justice League Unlimited
Chuck E: What's the hardest thing about being the leader of the Justice League?
Superman: Getting everyone together for a meeting. If it's not an earthquake or a volcano, it's a super-villain running rampant. There's always something keeping someone somewhere. The second hardest part is collecting dues.
Chuck E: Do the members of the Justice League get a vacation?
Superman: Sure, but they're always on call. I mean, we wouldn't want any members who wouldn't show up to battle Gorilla Grodd because it might interfere with their windsurfing lessons.
Chuck E: When the Justice League get together, what do they like to eat? (Note by the OP: Had to add a comma in there since it might sound better that way.)
Superman: Pizza. I love pizza. Flash has this place in Italy on speed dial and when Flash speed dials, he really speed dials!
Chuck E: How did the Justice League form, and how did you choose the name?
Superman: Earth was under attack by Mars and it was too big for any one of us to handle. It was almost an accident, but a happy one. This is one of the best things we've ever done. As for the name, Flash suggested "Super Friends" and we had to come up with something better fast.
Chuck E: What's the best thing about being a superhero?
Superman: I get to help people every day.
Chuck E: Paper or plastic?
Superman: I have a cloth bag that I re-use. It's better for the environment, don't you think?
Chuck E: What does the Justice League do when their superhero costumes are at the laundry?
Superman: Everyone has a spare uniform. We also just got in spiffy monogrammed bathrobes.
Chuck E: Who is the Justice League's biggest foe?
Superman: Luthor, no doubt. I don't care what Batman says.
Chuck E: What's Batman really like?
Superman: Intense. Really, really intense. Sometimes I think that if he smiled, his cowl would crack.
Chuck E: Who can run faster: you or the Flash?
Superman: Well, I think we know the real answer to that: Why run when you can fly?
Unsurprisingly, this comic featuring this little interview was released back in 2005 when CEC had the "Super Chuck Summer" thing going on back then. Even within the same comic also featured a short story about Super Chuck called: "Super Chuck Gets Super!" as it's viewable online through scans/photos of the book viewable and I gotta say, it's likely a random story that things suddenly happen in a way... Especially those two alien invaders at the end that Super Chuck just easily got rid of them and everybody's magically unfrozen by the end...? I know I'm being kind of harsh on such a short comic story that's mainly made for kids here, but I feel like pacing to flesh out certain stuff matters no matter if it's in a comic or not. Even if it might involve more pages and drawings to be made to flesh out the story more. And I feel like the Super Chuck story has some kind of potential to become a cartoon that could possibly do more than what the comic story did (if only those certain versions of the characters were back though).
Anyway, I'm ending this post right here!
