No Blippo, Japan Does NOT Hate Chococat!

 I know that meme is a bit low-effort looking but, ever since I saw that thumbnail as that video was freshly new like a year or two ago, I think something was wrong here (and I didn't watch that video but I certainly did watch their Cogimyun one when it was released at some point despite I think they messed up on Cogimyun's brother by mentioning the wrong character for that one as it's meant to be Cogimyon). And don't get me started on the whole "black cat bad because of Halloween and Friday the 13th" rumor stuff since this IS Japan we're talking about, right? RIGHT...? After all, they're trying to break-up this stereotypical belief that black cats aren't always this bad... Heck, even that thumbnail didn't age well because because of a few certain things I kept seeing Chococat in exclusive Japanese merch for a Punirunes collab (yes really, and that is what's in the meme below that I do wish I could "photoshop" that cookie out of Chibiusa's hand to put that Punirune Chococat in there, but I think I really don't have the time or those kinds of tools at the moment) and actually being Japanese dubbed for Hello Kitty and Friends Supercute Adeventures.

Oh, you never heard of that official Japanese dub before (unless if you already did heard of it... probably)? Well, since they've been doing this a lot more often now on their official Japanese Sanrio YouTube channel, you will certainly see a lot more of Chococat on there! And to be honest here, I'm glad that they kept him without doing any major animation re-edting to really remove him from the series itself. Plus, can we say that Chococat is more of a "niche" in Japan rather than being just "hated"? Especially the way that Sanrio is trying to make Chococat relevant in their own home country these days... Despite I also think Chococat was made to be more of a relevant character in the US and etc. rather than in Japan to possibly teach us that black cats aren't always that bad like those things that I've mentioned before... And now that's something to think about! Or it could be just me on going a bit overboard over some stupid clickbait thumbnail. But yet again, there would be some people out there that would believe in that stuff to blame on Sanrio, I guess.

Various Characters in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream & Punirunes in Miitopia

For this first top of pics, it's just my island lingo mentioning a few Punirunes things like the topic itself and the virtual pet toy(s). And I only did this for my second island (as my first island hasn't gotten it yet as I'm writing this out).

 

Characters that appear in this section are: Pinky (preview for now), Visty and Summple (a "semi-OC" who's a part of Snowple as he's the summer themed counterpart).

Characters that appear in this section are: Macne Nana and Coco White (the first two pics) and as for the third, there's Marsupilamie (the female Marsupilami) and one of the "RAP MEN" from Rhythm Tengoku.

As for the rest of this post, since I got the demo (and full game as I'm writing this out as I haven't played much of the demo or full game itself as I'm still creating characters on my own than going into the actual part of the game), I created a batch of Punirunes characters!

Yeah, just to expect many of these Punirune characters wearing wigs that resemble part of themselves. And that first one is Airun.

P.S. Visty has a point in one of the pics as Secret AiPri (Himitsu no AiPri) and Punirunes really did collab together that Summple didn't know about, I guess.

An Early 40th Anniversary Post for Famitsu~

 A bit early, but hey, just in time that I got this out! And as for the first pic, they're Ranrun from Punirunes as I got them wearing hats similar to Necky's red magician hat as if they were celebrating with him (at the time before I got a new adult).

As for this pic pic down here, it's a screenshot from the one official Famitsu website that has some little animations like the sparkles flashing or moving around and the top words popping up, but Necky (including the stuff coming from out of the hat) is pretty static. Should've done something a bit more with him when it comes to this 40th anniversary in my opinion (like a bit more merch, of course).

Baloo Finds Alexandra's Comment Going Too Far

Well gee, looks like someone was hard to please! And this was about me as the admin of my Punirunes group... 

Like, I already get it, it's my group that I should be responsible for, but there's no need to attack or lash out on me like this! No matter if it's just that "Hapirun Incident" that I was mistakenly "rude" to her in a way (or more like patronizing, that is) a while back or over my opinion(s) about some silicone cases that I don't like that I just don't want in the group anymore. Not to say I'm ruining everyone's fun over this! And just like many of my members, I totally wanna have fun for my own group as a freakin' hobby for something niche. But of course, I'm also into other niche things that I also wanna focus on from time to time such as Necky the Fox, more of Susumu Matsushita's art and so on!

 

Even she just basically annoyed me with a few of her recent comments lately... Such as this one being pictured here and another one that she was calling me "rude" to all my group members. Yes, really. Despite this, I've tried to be nice to her as I could (while including many of my group members as possible) for last few years. And while she's gone (that I thankfully don't have to deal with her anymore), I'm still aiming to be an decent FB admin to this day.

Not to mention that I just created this "DeviantArt-esque" meme that I did on my own without using anyone else's DA templates since I feel like that one meme blank template was a bit much on the writing for me.

💭 a possibly long title to write about these punirunes silicone cases 💭

 Updating an old meme with a different template that I've used... And I'm also updating my opinion on the matter. Even I'm kinda surprised that a special edition case of Jewelrun wasn't a thing made for the Punistal toy yet. With that said, I'm glad that they're making better variations nowadays since back then when the Spin Master Punirunes toy was new to many folks, the unofficial cases weren't all that great (as they're featured on the right side on what we got before). While I'm totally not a fan of the older cases (especially those faces on the front side... no thank you), some people actually liked the older cases in my Punirunes FB group. And when some members started to post more and more of those faces (especially those two on the top right side), I started to get sick of seeing them overtime. Didn't mind them at first... As of course, other people in my group wanted to see them, but I think it's time to put a limit onto posting the front face cases when it comes to my FB group.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to for future posts (and certainly not everyone will agree with on this), but at least I'm not taking down your already posted FB posts while also name-calling you or stalking your DMs to name-call you/shouting at you at all caps... Now that's pure rudeness right there! While I'm not the best saying some things at times, whenever I'm being "rude" to you, can you at least say a better word than that? Just saying! And speaking on future posts, they're gonna be full-on approved by me from now on. Because as to why, it's due to the "Admin Assist" feature on my end not entirely off for approving posts by myself. Even at times, I didn't mind that feature being on whenever I'm doing other things for other fandoms and etc... Even it's been a while that I've turned that off for another group of mine AKA "The Warner Brothers & Warner Sister Dedication Group" (since there were some posts that I didn't like to see at times regardless if they were related to the Animaniacs; main trio).

P.S. Hopefully the small text is okay to read. And if you like the older cases, great! Not meant to bash anyone's feelings about 'em. Oh, out of all the rest of the cases, on the right side, there's a Tomorun case (as it's below the Airun one that also has a face)! But it only works for Punitomo (Punitomo Tsushin) toys only. Even I didn't include other cases like the colored ones that are just more plain looking than having any design features onto them  or the other Airun variant that isn't winking for Punitomo.

TL: LtD Custom Pet Ideas (Part 1)

 Since I've been thinking about more ideas from TL lately, here some ideas for my future island to have!

1. Harvey the Wonder Hamster for "Weird Al"

That's actually Harvey's first appearance in "The Weird Al Show" for the theme song (alongside with a few other art styles that he was also in), not for the "Fatman" segments on where he actually talks with this kind of design:

Just a quick refresher to those that may forgot about him. Anyway, I actually didn't mind this show when I watched all the episodes on YT like a year or two ago, but I have to agree with the crew that there was something going on here! And probably it wasn't for the best for Al to become the next Pee-wee Herman (despite the network's wishes, that is). Even I like Harvey! So to me, that man needs his good ol' friend back!

Moving on and I have some "dual characters" on the list and what I meant by that is that the protentional residents on my island are gonna get pet versions of their very own selves! Well, actually some of them to be honest here. So...

2. Puniru for Puniru! Because, why not? And there's no surprise that I'm definitely adding slime characters into my island!

3. Slime Necky for Necky!

4. Pepperoni for Chuck E. Cheese... And speaking of this little dog that's honestly rare to find these days has a bit of an interesting history about misprint toys for Dennis Foland Inc. and Liberty Toy that you're totally gonna see that once you see more of that Pepperoni character as you research. And the way that I see it, it might've been a mistake with the two companies to possibly get their plushies messed up since the plushies look pretty similar to one another. Plus, another reason as to why that Pepperoni "faded to obscurity" is likely because the unfortunate truth on naming a dog "Pepperoni" might've give a "bad influence" to people (especially kids) when those little slices are toxically bad for real dogs the more they eat 'em. Or having silly moments of Mr. Munch mistakenly thinking that dog could've been pizza at some point. But if you wanna name your dog that, that's no problem on it's own! Even I think if Chuck E.'s dog was named "Pepper" instead, the problems would've slimmed down a bit.

5. P-Chan for Ame... Despite not playing the game, I actually would love that.

6. Slime Rinrin for Rinrin!

7. Ufufy Goofy for Goofy! And you can see, I'm gonna make that human Goofy into one of my future Miis.

8. Slime Mitsuki for Sakura. Because it would've been cute to see. After all, Sakura's quite a fan of "Mi-tan"~.

Note: Somebody out there might get on what I'm talking about for this one if they've watched the AiPri anime.

9. Ururun for Chris. At least he doesn't have the "Evil Monkey" in his very own closet... For now? Jokes aside, I think Ururun would pair up well with Chris since in the early seasons of Family Guy, Chris actually loves drawing (that I can honestly relate to... especially if I ever went into scouting like the Girl Scouts for instance, I would've felt like the same if Girl Scouts wasn't for me personally).

And we finally get to 10. AKA the other ideas!

Up first there's Kuma for Mirei or Sophie/Sophy that I'll likely make, next onto KiracCHU... don't know who as I'm writing this yet, then we get to Brain. Gonna do something like that plush design that seems swell that I'm gonna give it Peter or Lois. Anyway, there's Kuurun/Coorun. Perhaps I'm gonna give this to Junon as I can tell they're already quite a pair (despite not putting them together for the collage). And then there's the Warner siblings that I might gonna turn them into "kawaii balls" or something like that for the Warners, I guess. Up next in line is a fun Miku plush design that's actually a Squishable! Wished that they could've made more of these lol. Plus, I'm most likely gonna give to my Miku. And we lastly get to Babyrun/Bebirun, the starter little blob! Maybe I'll give that one for Hanazono Kirara (as she's from Aikatsu Stars)?

Stuff like that Slime Necky drawing (as it's basically cropped up as it's the only picture I got at the moment) is mine while the human Goofy one is made by dailyart according to what I found through reverse image search.

SpongeBob Showing Patrick Garbage Meme... AGAIN! But With This Time, It's About Niches.

 Or at least the good kind of niche stuff that I'm into (for the most part).

But before I explain what exactly these things are within the meme, this comment right here gave me the inspiration as to why I made this meme (that I've tried to restate their comment within the first panel):

Like, really? You think Animaniacs is niche?! To me, I really don't think so. And I get it it's not as very popular as it is today compared back in the 90's, but it's still a show that some people (including me) tend to talk about to this very day. And that's also like saying "This [insert popular 90's cartoon here like Rugrats, Tiny Toon Adventures, Ren & Stimpy and etc.] is a niche thing!" compared to other cartoons that also came out during the 90's that weren't as popular or were just forgotten about.

As for the 2020 reboot, though... I think it's starting to age like milk ever since it came out and the more it aged rottenly in my brain (despite wanting to like the reboot at some point). And recently, one of the VAs spoke about it in a negative light:

Man, if this is actually true, then please give me that video footage! Because I so wanna see it if that's really the case.

Plus, there's also this right here:

Yeah, not a great sight to see whenever you have people on a platform that I don't like complain about the reboot to this day.

With that said, let's get on to the rest of the meme starting off...

1.  Punirunes and other virtual pets that aren't from Tamagotchi.

Keep in mind that I'm not talking about the Tamagotchi knock-offs that are the low-quality types, but to focus more of the unique kind of virtual pets like Punirunes as I think it's starting to become less niche than how it was in the early 2020's. But still people would likely find Punirunes to be niche, I guess? Or heck, stuff like back in the late 2000's there was "My Meebas" that's actually more niche than Punirunes as for it's own unique feature out of it was, once it becomes an adult that's too big to fit on the screen, a "surprise plush" will come out as if you help to pull it up on the tube so your friend/pet can get out of there as if it was greeting you in the real world.

2. MC Skat Kat & his Stray Mob

Well, if you're already familiar with the whole "Opposites Attract" song done by Paula Abdul, there's no introduction to be needed there! But what not many people talk about is MC Skat Kat's own crew AKA the "Stray Mob". As MC Skat Kat was getting more popular back in the early 90's, he had more of a crew than just the three members appearing in the OA MV as only Taboo [the cat wearing the yellow shirt], Fatz [the cat wearing the glasses] and Micetro who was the silent one that never sung until the "Skat Strut" music video came out as he was lip-syncing a part of the sampled "Let's Groove" bit as that was Earth, Wind & Fire's song).

As for the other members of the group, there was Leo (the big guy) and the two girls out of the group that are Katleen and Silk.

3. Obscure or "Unpopular" anime from the 2010's!

Believe it or not, I actually got a few of them on DVD as they're "Nurse Witch Komugi R" and just recently "Seiyu's Life!"... As for NWKR, I think it was an alright reboot for what it was (and it was much better than Animaniacs 2020 imo) and as for Seiyu's Life, I haven't gotten able to watch it yet as I was writing this out, but I've heard the songs were good! Aside from watching a few clips as well. And as for the other two things that are also shown in the fourth panel are Hacka Doll and Etotama! As for Etotama, I just realized that all the episodes are up on YouTube as of October 2024! And no one ever told me that. As for Hacka Doll, though... I was able to watch all the episodes once back like in the 2010's that I thought it was decent. Still gotta watch it again someday! Even I don't have to buy any of the expensive Etotama physical media out there (especially on Amazon).

4. Luminary Tears (AKA Mahou no Lumitear)

As for this one, I already explained a bit of it in my "Top 3 Niche Things That I'm Into" post. And like the other anime being previously mentioned, this also had one too! But I didn't get to watch all of them (as I was writing this out), though... At least I find it okay.

5. Lady Unicorn (by Marco Albireo)

Oh yeah, if you want a magical girl who's an adult that also goes by solo, then this is something for you! And hopefully, this can get an English translation someday! Well, if not, if not. Still a great concept, though.

6. Finally, Susumu FREAKIN' Matsushita!

OH YEEEAAAHHH! If you're into characters that aren't in the style of today's cartoons (especially American ones), then take these American-inspired Japanese toons done by this guy! And if you can tell from my blog by now, you can tell who my favorite is. Even I also mentioned his stuff in that one post that I previously mentioned (you know, "Top 3 Niche Things That I'm Into").

P.S. I know I haven't talked about some of the stuff like the anime much that you can probably look that up on your own like on my blog or from other websites. And as for the My Meebas thing, I think the concept was cool, but never owned one at all... Speaking of MM again, I think I saw a commercial on it back in the day (but I dunno on how many times when I saw it as my memory being much younger back then isn't the best at times). Plus, as to why the post's title has the "AGAIN!" part, as I made another version to this prior.
