SpongeBob Showing Patrick Garbage Meme... AGAIN! But With This Time, It's About Niches.

 Or at least the good kind of niche stuff that I'm into (for the most part).

But before I explain what exactly these things are within the meme, this comment right here gave me the inspiration as to why I made this meme (that I've tried to restate their comment within the first panel):

Like, really? You think Animaniacs is niche?! To me, I really don't think so. And I get it it's not as very popular as it is today compared back in the 90's, but it's still a show that some people (including me) tend to talk about to this very day. And that's also like saying "This [insert popular 90's cartoon here like Rugrats, Tiny Toon Adventures, Ren & Stimpy and etc.] is a niche thing!" compared to other cartoons that also came out during the 90's that weren't as popular or were just forgotten about.

As for the 2020 reboot, though... I think it's starting to age like milk ever since it came out and the more it aged rottenly in my brain (despite wanting to like the reboot at some point). And recently, one of the VAs spoke about it in a negative light:

Man, if this is actually true, then please give me that video footage! Because I so wanna see it if that's really the case.

Plus, there's also this right here:

Yeah, not a great sight to see whenever you have people on a platform that I don't like complain about the reboot to this day.

With that said, let's get on to the rest of the meme starting off...

1.  Punirunes and other virtual pets that aren't from Tamagotchi.

Keep in mind that I'm not talking about the Tamagotchi knock-offs that are the low-quality types, but to focus more of the unique kind of virtual pets like Punirunes as I think it's starting to become less niche than how it was in the early 2020's. But still people would likely find Punirunes to be niche, I guess? Or heck, stuff like back in the late 2000's there was "My Meebas" that's actually more niche than Punirunes as for it's own unique feature out of it was, once it becomes an adult that's too big to fit on the screen, a "surprise plush" will come out as if you help to pull it up on the tube so your friend/pet can get out of there as if it was greeting you in the real world.

2. MC Skat Kat & his Stray Mob

Well, if you're already familiar with the whole "Opposites Attract" song done by Paula Abdul, there's no introduction to be needed there! But what not many people talk about is MC Skat Kat's own crew AKA the "Stray Mob". As MC Skat Kat was getting more popular back in the early 90's, he had more of a crew than just the three members appearing in the OA MV as only Taboo [the cat wearing the yellow shirt], Fatz [the cat wearing the glasses] and Micetro who was the silent one that never sung until the "Skat Strut" music video came out as he was lip-syncing a part of the sampled "Let's Groove" bit as that was Earth, Wind & Fire's song).

As for the other members of the group, there was Leo (the big guy) and the two girls out of the group that are Katleen and Silk.

3. Obscure or "Unpopular" anime from the 2010's!

Believe it or not, I actually got a few of them on DVD as they're "Nurse Witch Komugi R" and just recently "Seiyu's Life!"... As for NWKR, I think it was an alright reboot for what it was (and it was much better than Animaniacs 2020 imo) and as for Seiyu's Life, I haven't gotten able to watch it yet as I was writing this out, but I've heard the songs were good! Aside from watching a few clips as well. And as for the other two things that are also shown in the fourth panel are Hacka Doll and Etotama! As for Etotama, I just realized that all the episodes are up on YouTube as of October 2024! And no one ever told me that. As for Hacka Doll, though... I was able to watch all the episodes once back like in the 2010's that I thought it was decent. Still gotta watch it again someday! Even I don't have to buy any of the expensive Etotama physical media out there (especially on Amazon).

4. Luminary Tears (AKA Mahou no Lumitear)

As for this one, I already explained a bit of it in my "Top 3 Niche Things That I'm Into" post. And like the other anime being previously mentioned, this also had one too! But I didn't get to watch all of them (as I was writing this out), though... At least I find it okay.

5. Lady Unicorn (by Marco Albireo)

Oh yeah, if you want a magical girl who's an adult that also goes by solo, then this is something for you! And hopefully, this can get an English translation someday! Well, if not, if not. Still a great concept, though.

6. Finally, Susumu FREAKIN' Matsushita!

OH YEEEAAAHHH! If you're into characters that aren't in the style of today's cartoons (especially American ones), then take these American-inspired Japanese toons done by this guy! And if you can tell from my blog by now, you can tell who my favorite is. Even I also mentioned his stuff in that one post that I previously mentioned (you know, "Top 3 Niche Things That I'm Into").

P.S. I know I haven't talked about some of the stuff like the anime much that you can probably look that up on your own like on my blog or from other websites. And as for the My Meebas thing, I think the concept was cool, but never owned one at all... Speaking of MM again, I think I saw a commercial on it back in the day (but I dunno on how many times when I saw it as my memory being much younger back then isn't the best at times). Plus, as to why the post's title has the "AGAIN!" part, as I made another version to this prior.

Top 3 Niche Things That I'm Into Meme

 While these things are more popular in Japan (especially with Famitsu's mascot named: "Necky the Fox" who's still appearing on the magazine covers to this day), outside of its home state are qualified to be "niche" as you'll see why.

3. Luminary Tears (AKA Mahou no Lumitear) is something like when you put cutesy magical girls with Precious Moments together and you'll get something like this! And honestly, I don't see people talk about this or  having an active fandom around with a decent amount of people in it. But too bad if anyone's missing this out! Especially if they're already into kawaii pastel stuff and magical girls. Even I've been a fan of Luminary Tears for some years now (despite it would've been nice to get some merch, but that's likely not easy to get these days)

2. Monkey Magic & etc. that's also from Susumu Matsushita!

Before I go into No.1 (as Matsushita-san is also the artist for Necky and his crew), he did other stuff like Monkey Magic as that was a short-lived anime series that does have a bit of a fanbase that grew up with the show back in the day or played the PS1 game. Even he did other stuff like designing the cast for Space World in which that was a theme park in Japan that no longer exists alongside on creating a mascot for the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan that became unused/an potential candidate as that was Snowple the Stoat/Weasel to say a few.

1. Famitsu... But it's just the mascots that I'm talking about.

Yeah, despite I'm not into gaming journalism or have read any Famitsu magazine, I think these mascots are so cool that I think also these guys deserve so much more! Like having a fandom of their own that could have fans just loving the characters themselves without reading or actually reading Famitsu! Even it would be cooler to see Arnold the Armadillo, Baby Necky the Fox, Baggy the Bat, and Savvy Squirrel reuniting with Necky again if that'll ever happen someday (since Necky had a slight redesign in the 2010's that I've noticed as he has longer fur cheeks than shorter ones and his head is a bit more thin than thick). And as to why I didn't mention the Penguin Bros. is because they already reunited with Necky in one of the Famitsu specials back in 2018!

So, here's hoping that the rest of the All Star crew will be back again! After all, it's been so long without those guys... Seriously!

🌈✨ Luminary Tears "Kind of Edit" ✨🌈

 Well, like I said, it's kind of an edit in this case...

And I know Luminary Tears hasn't been all that talked about outside of Japan and I even consider it to be underrated at times. And who knows where I got that rainbow wallpaper from as it's been a while as I originally took this one from my one 3DS (as this was likely back within the late 2010's).

 And it's also a bit of a crossover one too. Originally made this edit back when I was on online school back then.

The characters appear on here are: Yakko from that "Cookies for Einstein" episode from the OG Animaniacs, Petel Tear (pink), Syuna Tear (mainly blue and white), Proro Tear (mainly pastel yellow and white) and Noir Tear (mainly dark purple and purple) from Luminary Tears. Of course, this is originally taken by one of my Nintendo 3DS cameras.

💚 Updating Jupy Gluck's Old Bio! 💚

 Yeah, I originally made like some slides in Google Slides about her like in the early 2020's/late 2010's (circa 2019-ish) when she used to have the name: "Jupy Happy" but I took out the last name recently since I thought it was generic nowadays and replaced it with the word "Gluck" to make it a bit unique just like the first name was in a way. I know I already said that before when it comes to her last name but, I'm just saying it here for one last time. And speaking of those Google Slides, I'm gonna share 'em! Or at least most of them, I guess?

Anyway, here's the first slide!

For the 'Full Character Name' section, it's now "Jupy Gluck" instead of "Jupy Happy" as I've already stated before along with the name being in Japanese as this now: "ジュピー・グラック".

Her birthday stays the same.

Her age is likely to be 18-ish as I've stated before in the previous posts on this very blog. And that's changed from this old bio.

Her signature stays the same, I guess?

The 'Heritage from Other Countries' section basically stays the same.

Of course, her gender stays the same!

And this is where that I reconfigure her personality here.

Things like being hungry, magical, lovely, careful, and entertaining aren't personality traits and being innocent is more of an Archetype. While I can still have those things in her character, and they're basically just describing her character than personality-wise.

So, here's a new list of her personality!

She's sweet, kind, shy, bashful, friendly, gentle, bright, cheerful, playful, innocent, and girly girl.

When it comes to the 'Family' section though, probably give me suggestions if you want me to see that get updated or not.

Now onto the next slide!

All I can say with this one that it stays the same? Jupy can also have her hair down or have it in pigtails as she wants. Perhaps I'm just not that good describing on what the character wears. 🤷‍♀️ Despite I'm trying my best here.

Onto the next slide coming up!

Despite not being a self-insert kind of character (that's more of Stella Armstrong's side I'll say), Jupy shares a lot of interests with me! And speaking of those interests, they basically stay the same. The same can said with the 'Dislikes' section along as well.

With this slide here, it's basically silly stuff on what I'm describing here:

And a part of that has to be changed because the "wavy lines" that do appear whenever Jupy's stomach growls isn't always 'pastel-colored' sometimes. It can be different colors rather than just that though. Other than that, this slide basically stays the same for the most part.

Aside from that slide, here's this one!

Don't know who originally created that pastel stars divider (in the middle) but I think it original came from DeviantArt if I'm not mistaken. But there's also Winnie the Pooh (right corner) and Proro Tear from Luminary Tears (left corner)! And this one basically stays the same.

And the last slide that I'm not going to show here for some reason is that I claim her to be cartoon and part anime/manga in her original bio.

I know that there wasn't a whole lot of updates here, but it's been a bit of a while that I had to update anything to her old bio while sharing the old slides. And like I said, I don't mind suggestions to update more on her own character in the future!
