ALRIGHT I GET IT!!! (TL: LtD Edition)

 Yep, basically my response to that and probably this is one of the reasons as to why there are 70 Miis in the new game rather than 100 like in the previous games since it's hard to keep up on keeping your Miis happy all the time whenever something's happening with them within seconds! Especially during the day that might trigger this more often.

And this is why I'll hesitate or even refuse calling Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream a "cozy game" since the Miis act more like humanized virtual pets with moody attitudes.

Note: They usually say this whenever they're sad or grumpy/irritated with the lines floating around their heads as that'll be a lot more common whenever you got more Miis on your island. Not when they're depressed or angry. Just would've been nice if they didn't say this pretty often as they're could've been a way to shut them up if they are that vocal about it. And it doesn't help with little to no context provided for whatever put the Mii itself off as you tap on their recent thought bubble.

😲 WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?!: The Crossword "Puzzle Mates" Edition 😲

 And I'm mainly talking about the specific ones that I've found that were officially drawn by Susumu Matsushita so far. Even I just wanted to get this out of the way first before I go into these characters, in one of my previous posts, I think I got a little confused that the main Crossword Clown mascot guy that we got was actually named: "Chibi-Kura" at some point before I realized that there was smaller clown guy that I wasn't paying attention to when I was trying to do a bit of research back then. It also doesn't help that there's no proper archive of these "Puzzle Mate" books since I can probably just imagine that these were "for kids" due to the brightly colored cartoony characters alongside with the official Susumu Matsushita website not updating and archiving the artist's future or some previous works ever since somewhere around the 2010's (if I'm not mistaken with that). Not to mention that I thought that the clown guy with the green hair that I thought of was supposed to be like the main Crossword Clown despite that's actually supposed to be like this prototype design (and they don't tell ya that) on how he's much taller and lankier compared to the finalized design on how he's much shorter now and etc... Even the actual "Chibi-Kura" character hasn't been used in a long while that can be considered a "lost character" by now ever since that brown little furry guy (AKA Peter, who is a cat) basically replaced him as he hangs out with Crossword Clown on a bunch of Crossword Mate covers.

Aside from already knowing Crossword Clown, Peter and Chibi-Kura's names, there's like a few other characters that I know of who has a name popped-up has that's "Bird-kun" (the orange bird fella with the yellow beak) and "King" (the lion wearing the crown) while I was trying to do a bit of research in Japanese. And it would've been nice if the official Susumu Matsushita website included those new characters by now.

As for the characters on what they're the mascots for, you already have Crossword Clown and that little furry guy that would casually appear on (but it used to been Chibi-Kura before that you-know-who replaced Chibi-Kura in many of Crossword Mate's future covers that I've already talked about before) and speaking of that little furry guy, he also has appeared without hanging around with the clown guy on one of the spin-offs called: "Crossword On!" as Peter's the main mascot for. And as for King and Bird-kun, King is the mascot for "Crossword Mega King" and Bird-kun's mascot position is for "Deluxe Crossword". Plus, as for the other character that I haven't mentioned yet, there seems to be another lion character than just King alone in this very case! And with that character, there's "Tamutamu-kun" as he's the mascot for "Super Crossword" (and he's a child btw).

So yeah, basically did my research on this whole list of mascots for the "Puzzle Mates" while writing this out.

SpongeBob Showing Patrick Garbage Meme... AGAIN! But With This Time, It's About Niches.

 Or at least the good kind of niche stuff that I'm into (for the most part).

But before I explain what exactly these things are within the meme, this comment right here gave me the inspiration as to why I made this meme (that I've tried to restate their comment within the first panel):

Like, really? You think Animaniacs is niche?! To me, I really don't think so. And I get it it's not as very popular as it is today compared back in the 90's, but it's still a show that some people (including me) tend to talk about to this very day. And that's also like saying "This [insert popular 90's cartoon here like Rugrats, Tiny Toon Adventures, Ren & Stimpy and etc.] is a niche thing!" compared to other cartoons that also came out during the 90's that weren't as popular or were just forgotten about.

As for the 2020 reboot, though... I think it's starting to age like milk ever since it came out and the more it aged rottenly in my brain (despite wanting to like the reboot at some point). And recently, one of the VAs spoke about it in a negative light:

Man, if this is actually true, then please give me that video footage! Because I so wanna see it if that's really the case.

Plus, there's also this right here:

Yeah, not a great sight to see whenever you have people on a platform that I don't like complain about the reboot to this day.

With that said, let's get on to the rest of the meme starting off...

1.  Punirunes and other virtual pets that aren't from Tamagotchi.

Keep in mind that I'm not talking about the Tamagotchi knock-offs that are the low-quality types, but to focus more of the unique kind of virtual pets like Punirunes as I think it's starting to become less niche than how it was in the early 2020's. But still people would likely find Punirunes to be niche, I guess? Or heck, stuff like back in the late 2000's there was "My Meebas" that's actually more niche than Punirunes as for it's own unique feature out of it was, once it becomes an adult that's too big to fit on the screen, a "surprise plush" will come out as if you help to pull it up on the tube so your friend/pet can get out of there as if it was greeting you in the real world.

2. MC Skat Kat & his Stray Mob

Well, if you're already familiar with the whole "Opposites Attract" song done by Paula Abdul, there's no introduction to be needed there! But what not many people talk about is MC Skat Kat's own crew AKA the "Stray Mob". As MC Skat Kat was getting more popular back in the early 90's, he had more of a crew than just the three members appearing in the OA MV as only Taboo [the cat wearing the yellow shirt], Fatz [the cat wearing the glasses] and Micetro who was the silent one that never sung until the "Skat Strut" music video came out as he was lip-syncing a part of the sampled "Let's Groove" bit as that was Earth, Wind & Fire's song).

As for the other members of the group, there was Leo (the big guy) and the two girls out of the group that are Katleen and Silk.

3. Obscure or "Unpopular" anime from the 2010's!

Believe it or not, I actually got a few of them on DVD as they're "Nurse Witch Komugi R" and just recently "Seiyu's Life!"... As for NWKR, I think it was an alright reboot for what it was (and it was much better than Animaniacs 2020 imo) and as for Seiyu's Life, I haven't gotten able to watch it yet as I was writing this out, but I've heard the songs were good! Aside from watching a few clips as well. And as for the other two things that are also shown in the fourth panel are Hacka Doll and Etotama! As for Etotama, I just realized that all the episodes are up on YouTube as of October 2024! And no one ever told me that. As for Hacka Doll, though... I was able to watch all the episodes once back like in the 2010's that I thought it was decent. Still gotta watch it again someday! Even I don't have to buy any of the expensive Etotama physical media out there (especially on Amazon).

4. Luminary Tears (AKA Mahou no Lumitear)

As for this one, I already explained a bit of it in my "Top 3 Niche Things That I'm Into" post. And like the other anime being previously mentioned, this also had one too! But I didn't get to watch all of them (as I was writing this out), though... At least I find it okay.

5. Lady Unicorn (by Marco Albireo)

Oh yeah, if you want a magical girl who's an adult that also goes by solo, then this is something for you! And hopefully, this can get an English translation someday! Well, if not, if not. Still a great concept, though.

6. Finally, Susumu FREAKIN' Matsushita!

OH YEEEAAAHHH! If you're into characters that aren't in the style of today's cartoons (especially American ones), then take these American-inspired Japanese toons done by this guy! And if you can tell from my blog by now, you can tell who my favorite is. Even I also mentioned his stuff in that one post that I previously mentioned (you know, "Top 3 Niche Things That I'm Into").

P.S. I know I haven't talked about some of the stuff like the anime much that you can probably look that up on your own like on my blog or from other websites. And as for the My Meebas thing, I think the concept was cool, but never owned one at all... Speaking of MM again, I think I saw a commercial on it back in the day (but I dunno on how many times when I saw it as my memory being much younger back then isn't the best at times). Plus, as to why the post's title has the "AGAIN!" part, as I made another version to this prior.

 Yeah, I've been recently a fan of a few Backstreet Boys songs such as "Larger Than Life" (thanks to the "Avenger/Cool" era of CEC introducing me that song and "Everybody" (since I recently heard that in Walmart and I've heard "Weird Al" also sang a part of that in that "Polka Power" song before).

Before I get into the lyrics of the song, I can imagine Necky would've wore a sparkly suit and glasses are pretty much exactly like SpongeBob's glasses on how he wore them in that "Goofy Goober Rock" song for the first movie:

Oh Boy, Looney Tunes Drama... 🙄

 I get it that the Looney Tunes are in a rough spot right now, but holy cow, animation/Looney Tunes fandom(s)...

And don't get me started on that freakin' David Zaslav dude... Even I get it that he probably isn't kind to animation at the moment but I wouldn't go that far like he's the real-life version of Judge Doom or Al G. Rhythm! I mean, just cool it, people. Not to mention that there's that AI "art" Studio Ghibli controversy spreading around on the internet as well (as not me, I'm pretty much indifferent when it comes to Studio Ghibli so far).

Anyway, speaking of the freakin' WBD CEO so far, I couldn't stand when that one artist who used that freakin' #FireDavidZaslav hashtag that I've got sick of seeing that dumb hashtag popping up again and again!

 Well gee, as a new fan of CEC lately... At least I know better than some people out there if they wanna claim him as a "robot who doesn't do much beyond singing about pizza". 🙄 It just makes me angry in a way that makes me wanna info dump them like a dropping anvil on their head. But the thing is, I don't wanna overwhelm them too much unlike something I encountered with someone in an Animaniacs FB group who was giving me these freaking paragraph comments about on how I wasn't nice towards my own opinions, saying that I could go to jail over my freedom of speech, and etc. like I'm the one being "stupid" or something that was within the "Animaniacs Awareness Project" before I got kicked out back then! And I'm saving that iffy subject for another day if I ever wanna talk about it on this blog, but I'm acknowledging that kind of situation did happen to me rather than ignoring it for good. Despite the fact I don't have any screenshots of that situation at the time for some reasons.

Anyway, this meme is for the people that don't know about CEC as much (especially that I tend to talk about the "Avenger" era mainly on this blog)...

Sonic Drake Meme but It's ANIMENIACS Vs. Most of the Superheroes from SBSP: SooW

 Just another one of those old memes that I'm sharing just now... After all, I did like that Sponge out of Water movie more than the Animaniacs reboot in my opinion. At least SpongeBob and the gang have a fun battle scene between with Burger Beard unlike on how the Warners and Dwayne LaPistol had in execution. Even I liked the that one SpongeBob movie ever since I was a teenager when it came out! Despite it not being an "original" kind of movie that somewhat relies on callbacks/reusing ideas such as SpongeBob and his friends become a team of superheroes, Plankton going inside of SpongeBob's head, the live-action stuff, the time travel stuff, and Plankton and SpongeBob singing a positive song together, this movie made me like SpongeBob again since there were times that I liked or didn't liked SpongeBob as a kid. But at least the movie was fun in some way! And I would take that movie any day over the next SB movie that came afterwards... 

*cough* Sponge on the Run *cough*

Of course, it's not like the first movie either on how it will never be "epically grand" as the first one as it was also meant to be a finale for the series (until Nickelodeon wanted SpongeBob to be their mascot like Disney's Mickey Mouse for better or worse). But like I said, I did find Sponge out of Water to be a fun movie in some way.

And can I say that the CGI for SooW aged like fine wine? Because I still get impressed by it to this very day. 

Perhaps, this might be the best content we've ever gotten in the "modern era" of SpongeBob that's close to the "classic era" I'll say. Heck, it's even better than Kamp Koral and the Patrick Star Show combined! But that's just my take on it.

Reboot It...? 🤨 More like: "Do NOT Reboot It!"

 In my opinion, rebooting Animaniacs had to be a mistake more so than anime's existence lately. And it's more embarrassing than Wakko's Wish for crying out loud! At least the reboot crew knew how to get the main "plot" around Pinky and the Brain right (despite those two getting more flanderized like Brain becoming more of a villain than he ever did and Pinky becoming more stupider if it depends on the episode and has become more of Brain's "problem" according to Brain's future self and so on). Besides, what's with the redesigns lately? I get it that's a reboot at some sort, but the freaking show itself acts like it's "canon" towards to the original show by throwing in many references to the original show! Of course, the reboot isn't canon through Tom Ruegger himself that he said at some point, but it also makes me think if Wakko's Wish is or is not canon as well (despite my disliking of the movie at times). My guess is that is noncanon due to some reasons I'll say. 

Although, I don't see it as an "alternate timeline into the future" like Kyle Whaley (AKA AGiLE-EaGLE1994 on DeviantArt) would've said but for me personally, it feels like a futuristic alternate universe like Nurse Witch Komugi R was rather than an "alternate timeline" in my book. Speaking of Nurse Witch Komugi R, that magical girl reboot doesn't get brought up that often nowadays despite it was a decent watch in my opinion than those other reboots such as the already mentioned Animaniacs 2020, Tiny Toons Looniversity (in which that show is like a "brand-new take" on Tiny Toon Adventures that isn't canon towards to the original show I'll say), the baffling PowerPuff Girls 2016 reboot that didn't need to exist, or Teen Titans GO! even if you love it or you hate it (if I'll ever actually watch any of these reboots or not... probably just not despite I used to like Animaniacs 2020 as it came out with the first season but disliked it afterwards on what the reboot crew did with the rest of the OG cast of characters especially Chicken Boo getting the villain treatment sadly.)

Aside from that stuff being said, here's the meme itself about my disliking towards to a specific song from the Animaniacs reboot called: 'Reboot It!' And when it comes to this song though, I just wish the singing and some of the lyrics were changed and were better though. Not to mention that Reboot Yakko's voice was just putting me off as one of those reasons on why I disliked the song I'll say... Followed by the comparison to Johnny Depp to the "Johnny, Johnny, Yes Papa" song that I feel like that didn't age well (despite it being unrelated to the Amber Heard controversy at the time) and the way that the Warners say, "Get the script rights cleared!" that I feel like it was dramatically and visually red colored around them a little too much than it should've been.

Despite that 'Chip n' Dale: Rescue Rangers' movie isn't that great but honestly not terrible at the same time and it tries so hard by being this "Animaniacs-styled" kind of movie when it comes to the humor, I think "Ugly Sonic" might be the best character off of that movie (in my opinion at least) if I had to say anything about the movie in a positive way alongside that MC Skat Kat cameo with Paula Abdul was only the greatest thing to come out of the movie. Ugly Sonic's also a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine that I would rather have than those NFT apes any day! But I feel like we can somewhat agree with Chip that anybody who's sick and tired of these reboots popping up often or a little too often doesn't want a reboot nowadays (especially if it gets sadly ruined on what they loved in the past).

Another Meme That's About Those "80's Cats" Designs from the Animaniacs 2020 Reboot...

 Even though that I haven't shared this meme within that one group that I manage that I would post there but, I actually made this meme like a few years ago when that one trailer dropped for the Animaniacs Hulu reboot with season 2 back in 2021 honestly. And it's just the fact that I haven't shared this one until just now (publicly). Not to mention that I still have questions on WHY they made the Warners look like that...? Even if it's just a cold opening for Pete's sake!
