I was about to make a blank template (so it could have its own post first) to go along with this post at some point, but I scrapped it the last minute. The song would have Chuck mainly singing the song along with his friends (AKA Munch's Make Believe Band) as they do the background vocals. And instead of singing about a dude that looks like a lady like the original song, it's about Chuck getting ready in the morning to be at that place on time alongside with his friends! It may not be a perfect parody of the song (and I could say the same with the other parody that I wrote for Avenger Chuck), but it's still something at least. I also wrote this parody by myself within a few days as I'm writing this. Oh, I should mention that the guitar in the first few seconds of the OG song would be Chuck's alarm clock going off in this parody.
The Lyrics & Dialogue:
Chuck: (I'm, I'm)
Getting ready in the morning
(I'm, I'm)
Getting ready in the morning
(I'm, I'm)
Getting ready in the morning
(I'm, I'm)
Getting ready in the morning
Playback of Chuck's voice doing the "I'm" part plays once during that last line
I'm hearing my alarm clock go beeping
In my bed where I have been sleeping
So, I let out a big loud yawn
"Chuck E., It's another big day."
As I said to myself at dawn (Heh!)
Playback of Chuck's voice doing the "I'm, I'm" part plays twice
As I was eating my breakfast
On the couch until my mama said
"Excuse me, could you do those dishes?"
Then I scarfed down the rest
As I headed out with a blast! (spoken See ya!)
(I'm, I'm)
Getting ready in the morning
(I'm, I'm)
Getting ready in the morning
(I'm, I'm)
Getting ready in the morning
(I'm, I'm)
Getting ready in the morning
As I got out of my sleepwear
Transitioned down to my footwear
Swayin', let's get my friends to make them ascend
As they really know where to go
spoken Heh-heck, I don't want this to end!
Helen, Munch, Jasper and Pasqually: (I'm, I'm)
Getting there in the morning
(I'm, I'm)
Getting there in the morning
All: (I'm, I'm)
Getting there in the morning
(I'm, I'm)
Getting there in the morning
Helen, Munch, Jasper and Pasqually: (Chuck E., We are getting up there)
Chuck: Let me have my bass, gang
Helen, Munch, Jasper and Pasqually: (Chuck E., We are getting up there)
Chuck: And my, and my, and my saxophone
Helen, Munch, Jasper and Pasqually: (Chuck E., We are getting up there)
Keep up the pace, gang
Helen, Munch, Jasper and Pasqually: (Chuck E., We are getting up there-ere)
Chuck: Gotta, gotta, keep on moving! (Heh!)
spoken Oh, yeah! Keep it going, Jasper!
Ooh, We're finally here
Ooh, I like, like it, like it, like that
Ooh, we have made it, heh! laughs
Helen, Munch, Jasper and Pasqually: (I'm, I'm)
Getting there in the morning
(I'm, I'm)
Getting there in the morning
All: (I'm, I'm)
Getting there in the morning
(I'm, I'm)
Getting there in the morning
(I'm, I'm)
Getting there in the morning
(I'm, I'm)
Getting there in the morning
All: (I'm, I'm)
Getting there in the morning
(I'm, I'm)
Getting there in the morning
I'm, I'm, I'm getting ready in the morning
I'm, I'm, I'm getting ready in the morning
I'm, I'm, I'm getting ready in the morning
I'm, I'm, I'm getting ready in the morning
The band's voices do a playback on the "I'm, I'm" part that plays out for the rest of the song for some seconds as it also fades out
spoken Chuck: Heh-heh! You know it!
Jasper: You said it!
Helen: Tell me about it!
And they all laugh together as the song fades out
Well, that's all I got for now and you can suggest me to add more dialogue if you want. Basically, the lyrics are all good in my book. Plus, I should mention that Chuck plays both the electric bass and the saxophone during that era that I researched upon. Heck, even the OG song AKA 'Dude (Looks Like A Lady)' had a saxophone (more likely two types of saxophones that I could say) and an electric bass/bass guitar!
UPDATE 6/20/24: I think I meant to say "electric guitar" on the other hand instead of a bass since the bass sounds lower than a guitar actually.
P.S. In my opinion, AI stuff like Bing AI/Copilot and Gemini (previously named Bard) don't know how to write lyrics for a song parody especially if you wanna stay faithful to the source material in some way. Even the way that I'm writing Chuck in this song parody like on how he was presented as this 2D cartoon-y character like many of the commercials were shown back in the day rather than a "walkaround character" or an "animatronic character" as I tried to imagine in this case.
