To keep up with the flow of the original song as I can, this song is simply about bath time instead of having those sexy lyrics (and I remember hearing this song on the radio as a kid and I can totally understand the song on what it actually meant nowadays but that doesn't take away any enjoyment of the song regardless of that). And I just thought the vibe of the song could work in some way. 🤷♀️
Lyrics & Dialogue
All: Step inside
Walk this way
In the bathtub
Hey hey!
All: Hey! 3x
Chuck: Pure is like a balm, baby, c'mon get it on
Livin' like a wily with an attitude
Lookin' like a chum, like an untidy bum
I gotta be pretty spotless in the tub
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: The tub
All: Hey! 2x
Chuck: Razzle 'n' a dazzle 'n' sparkly clean
Rub-a-dub-dub, baby, for the scene
Sometime, anytime, bath time is fun
Gotta make my body squeaky clean, yeah!
Munch, Helen, Pasqually: Hey!
Chuck (w/Jasper as backup): Yeah!
Chuck: Now c'mon!
All: Take a bottle, shake it up
Pop the bubble, pop it up
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Pour some shampoo on me
Chuck: To rub around myself
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Pour some shampoo on me
Chuck: C'mon, scrub me up
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Pour your shampoo on me
Chuck: I can't get enough
I'm warm, soapy scum
From my head to my feet, yeah!
All: Hey! 3x
Chuck: Listen, red foam, yellow foam, green-a-foam whirl
Crazy foaming soap in a colorful swirl
Bath fizzies, finger paint, bubble blower
Bath toys, slippery, lather up
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Lather up
Chuck: Lather up
You gotta
(w/Jasper as backup) squeeze a little, squeeze a little
Ease a little more
Even the bath fizzies are sinking down to the floor
Sometime, anytime, bath time is fun
Gotta make my body squeaky clean
Chuck: Yeah!
Chuck (w/Jasper as backup): Yeah!
Chuck: Bathe a little more
All: Take a bottle, shake it up
Pop the bubble, pop it up
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Pour some shampoo on me
Chuck: To rub around myself
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Pour some shampoo on me
Chuck: C'mon, scrub me up
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Pour your shampoo on me
Chuck: Oh, I can't get enough
I'm warm, soapy scum
From my head to my feet, yeah
instrumental break
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: You got the lotion, we got the cream
Chuck: Rough to smooth
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Slippery
Chuck: 'Cause I'm warm
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Warm, say what?
Chuck: Soapy scum
From my head
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Head!
Chuck: My head
All: To my feet
Chuck: Do you need shampoo? One squirt or two?
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Take a bottle
Chuck: Take a bottle
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Shake it up
Chuck: Shake it up
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Pop the bubble
Chuck: Pop it up
All: Pop it up
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Pour some shampoo on me
Chuck: To rub around myself
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Pour some shampoo on me
Chuck: C'mon, scrub me up
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Pour your shampoo on me
Chuck: Oh, I can't get enough
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Pour some shampoo on me
Chuck: To rub around myself
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Pour some shampoo on me
Chuck: Rinsing, I'm rinsing!
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Pour your shampoo on me
Chuck: Oh-ooh!
Helen, Munch, Pasqually, Jasper: Pour some shampoo on me
Chuck: Yeah, bathing me!
spoken Finally, we can get our clothes back on!
A chime sparking sound effect rings in and blasts out while the characters do their preferred pose as they get their clothes back on like magic
Chuck: Heh-heh-heh!
And that's all I'm gonna write for now. Anyway, Gummibär the Gummy Bear's "Bubble Up" song was likely an inspiration for this parody, but unlike this parody, that song just feels way more childish and bouncier (even it's not a bad song in my opinion) I'll say. And probably I wanted a song that wants to make me rock out while planning to take a bath whenever I need to since I need more motivation to take baths more often (despite the fact at times I'm just a bum like a sloth is). Plus, this song will be sung in D standard tuning for guitars and it's also a pitch lower than the original.
By the way, that ending on how I wrote that in end is that I could imagine doing that on a hologram projected screen rather than being animatronics at the moment. So, see you later next time!
