Necky the Fox & Famitsu (HDN) Have Their First Meeting At Planeptune 🦊🎀🎮

Well, I guess this counts as a "crossover"... Despite Necky's design is gonna give off some "Great Gazoo" vibes within the HDN world, I think it still would've been kinda amusing to see on how Necky and Famitsu both react to each other (if they ever met). And no one thought of this except for me. Even I haven't seen much gameplay of Famitsu yet.

Plus, I could make a fanfic on this someday (if I'm ever gonna make it happen once I become more of a fan of Famitsu herself). Even both of them have some things in common that makes things less out-of-place in Necky's case.

 

P.S. As to how Necky arrived at Planeptune, it's likely the usual "mysterious portal" thing that I can imagine that happening. And once Necky landed somewhere, he suddenly woke up and felt his butt hurting as he says: "My bottom hurts!" referencing Wakko from Animaniacs in the conclusion part for "Cartoons in Wakko's Body".

Top 3 Niche Things That I'm Into Meme

 While these things are more popular in Japan (especially with Famitsu's mascot named: "Necky the Fox" who's still appearing on the magazine covers to this day), outside of its home state are qualified to be "niche" as you'll see why.

3. Luminary Tears (AKA Mahou no Lumitear) is something like when you put cutesy magical girls with Precious Moments together and you'll get something like this! And honestly, I don't see people talk about this or  having an active fandom around with a decent amount of people in it. But too bad if anyone's missing this out! Especially if they're already into kawaii pastel stuff and magical girls. Even I've been a fan of Luminary Tears for some years now (despite it would've been nice to get some merch, but that's likely not easy to get these days)

2. Monkey Magic & etc. that's also from Susumu Matsushita!

Before I go into No.1 (as Matsushita-san is also the artist for Necky and his crew), he did other stuff like Monkey Magic as that was a short-lived anime series that does have a bit of a fanbase that grew up with the show back in the day or played the PS1 game. Even he did other stuff like designing the cast for Space World in which that was a theme park in Japan that no longer exists alongside on creating a mascot for the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan that became unused/an potential candidate as that was Snowple the Stoat/Weasel to say a few.

1. Famitsu... But it's just the mascots that I'm talking about.

Yeah, despite I'm not into gaming journalism or have read any Famitsu magazine, I think these mascots are so cool that I think also these guys deserve so much more! Like having a fandom of their own that could have fans just loving the characters themselves without reading or actually reading Famitsu! Even it would be cooler to see Arnold the Armadillo, Baby Necky the Fox, Baggy the Bat, and Savvy Squirrel reuniting with Necky again if that'll ever happen someday (since Necky had a slight redesign in the 2010's that I've noticed as he has longer fur cheeks than shorter ones and his head is a bit more thin than thick). And as to why I didn't mention the Penguin Bros. is because they already reunited with Necky in one of the Famitsu specials back in 2018!

So, here's hoping that the rest of the All Star crew will be back again! After all, it's been so long without those guys... Seriously!
