I'm One of Those People Who Doesn't Think Wakko Warner is "Nonbinary" And I Get This...

Well, I guess I'm back on making some new Animaniacs content again... But actually this isn't an actual casual return as it's more in a negative light than a positive one this time around. And what I meant by that, I'll get into that later on in the post. When I saw something in my feed related to the Animaniacs (especially the comics in this case), you might see this little panel coming around during Pride Month:

"Well, why is that?", you might ask to yourself. Well, it's because these people that are so into "Nonbinary Wakko" have to remind us about it every year that is freakin' "canon" for some reason... At least on what they act like when it comes to this. As I was scrolling off of FB, I saw Catmin's Anticapitalist Treehouse of Solidarity with their post about this certain comic panel with the nonbinary colors in the background along with saying "Happy Pride!" up top (that I didn't know it was a satire page at first after I got a few of these comments in at the time), and I didn't mind the other comments that were more playfully edgy to get some laughs out of them if you don't take them too seriously from the get-go. 

But as I wanted to keep it that way hopefully (especially from a satire page that I'm not that interested in), things took a much worse turn when Drof Ner said something quite plain-out nasty to me that wasn't no laughing matter (aside from quoting Wakko with the whole: "You wanna get in the boat or do you wanna argue?" thing).

When they called me that, that was freakin' so rude of them to say that! Especially for a fan back in the middle 2010's that I did became obsessed with those guys! Like I've said, I don't mind edgy jokes that aren't harming anyone's feelings at the end of the day if done intentionally, but THIS?!? This is such a different story that you're crossing the line here! And the way that they acted like... "It's true and you just shut your mouth if you don't know what canon is, you faker!" to make this sound more clean in some way.

[Note: When I wrote that one comment to them, they had such a limited time to even see that comment before I blocked them that was like over ten minutes. If not, oh well then, because good riddance!]

About that "canon" part... This is what I've found so far (that I know some people will go against me just because "It'S Ai" that I'm using, but there's some fans out there that "claim it canon" like they take that literally like a freakin' "fact" as I said so):

And yeah, I have to agree here... Especially when they original creator doesn't have anything say about it much (despite it's a popular thing with nonbinary people and some Animaniacs fans to this day ever since the beginning of the 2020's that I've heard about this). But at the same time, you got other people who worked on the 2020 reboot wanted to make "Nonbinary Wakko" a thing saying that they love it. Yet again, this is more of something that it's up to Tom Ruegger's choice if he could possibly make Wakko into "that" in which I pretty much doubt it (unless if it's the other way around).

Speaking of Tom, like that comic panel earlier, this is what he had to say if you scrolled down to the comment section of this post. While yes that comment is over a decade old now, I think it wouldn't change that much today if he would ever say it again. And things like the 2020 reboot aren't canon in his own opinion either (as I did remember him hating on it at the time like on what the reboot writers did to Chicken Boo in one of the first episodes of season 1 on FB). 

As for this "fake fan" stuff, you can be a "real fan" out of something no matter if you were born/weren't born when the show came out at its prime back then, doesn't matter how much merch clutter can be (that it can be big or small), or have a different take onto something compared to other fans like not liking Wakko's Wish as an example of mine! But as long if you're being cool, kind, respectful or understanding about something as that what counts the most no matter on what show/movie/etc. you like period. Well, if you can't do any of that like Drof Ner did to me, that's on you honestly.

P.S. Keep in mind that I'm not attacking anyone for liking "Nonbinary Wakko" nor saying that I'm "Anti-LGBTQ+" or something like that in this very case. If you like "Nonbinary Wakko", well good for you if you wanna share it as a headcanon... And yes, as a headcanon, that is when it comes to this whole ordeal, it's just a fan theory that became viral making you think that it's "real" when in actuality, it's probably not canon like I've said before. Plus, another thing that I gotta mention here! Don't talk to anyone like Drof Ner (especially when you're a child that might get caught into this mess sooner than later if you ever interact with them) that's been shown in these screenshots.

Yeah, I just created that meme to be more like a Pinterest/Facebook meme rather than adding a "insert title show here" along with what specific gag that you're talking about from that certain show.

 

And yep, this is all of it (so far as I'm writing this out as AiPri still has some episodes to go in its second season and who even knows about a season 3 just yet).

Yeah, I know it's not a meme template made for everyone who wants all that rainbow sparkles into their stuff, but I would rather have something like that than over a generic meme template with a plain background like many of those fill-in memes on Pinterest and DeviantArt.

 

And the reason why I'm making this since because I got an idea in mind (that you may or may not have figured out by now).

Using a Fictional Character For the Background of Your Memes Be Like:

 I get it that it was a bit of a trend that some of those "Whisper" memes would do that, but I'm not so impressed with Deep coma gf on FB who's also been doing that lately while reposting some of their older memes that I've like some of them like the Sanrio ones that don't sound so far-fetched in my taste. And speaking of that FB page, I could tell ya a bit more about them like those preachy hydration "memes" that I'm NOT into.

Just to say it simply, just use a background instead of using a fictional character as your "background" to talk about something! Even if it's "just a image out of something that you like"... I would recommend to use free backgrounds that don't have a fictional character in there, but at the end of the day, this is my opinion.

P.S. The picture is from that "Cool Mom" commercial for CEC made back in the late 90's. Plus, I also get it that the quality wasn't the best with the already used text in the second one.

RANT/VENT POST: Tried to Shut Down an FedEx "Scammer" & The Whole "Punirunes Tamagotchi Super Japanese" Thing... 🙄🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

 Right not long after that one guy that I've talked to who was randomly in a Garfield group posting religious garbage that had nothing to do with the fat cat himself, I recently got another dude (who thankfully isn't a potential creep as that other guy was, but who was pretty annoying honestly) that I commented on their post like close to a single week ago on what certain movie that I'll watch over and over again after already seeing it more than three times in which that was Walt Disney's "The Jungle Book" (despite not being picture in here since the page was taken down alongside of their posts in general) and I freakin' get this stuff in my DMs...

Speaking of Zangi, I've never even heard of the app before right after I had to talk this freakin' "scammer" who tries to prove themselves to be the "good guy"... And you can just tell that I was getting frustrated with this dude that it makes me feel like I wanna angry react to some of these messages, but at the same time, I didn't want to be "too mean" since they'll be like: "Oh, don't be mad at me! I'm just doing my job to be a good guy not scamming anyone." or something like that that they'll say in their own words. But saying that "h-word" was already good enough to say it without sugarcoating it to the "heck" word in my book (especially whenever when people like this guy don't ever listen to me that's also a scammer just pretending to this "good guy").

Even I gotta say, I'm kinda surprised (but really not too surprised) on what they've asked me before they left to say their final words like I was gonna take them down for good (like kicking them out of the group) if I was actually the admin of the group. After all, I got most of the stuff screenshotted here but with an exception over some person pic that was messing around with their phone, I guess? Nothing too important there (that felt unnecessary to add in this post honestly).

Anyway, onto the next situation that I wanna talk about who's in my Punirunes FB group that's likely obsessed with putting the words "Punirunes" and "Tamagotchi" together like they're possibly the same kind of word for some reason... Like yeah, I get it, they're both virtual pets but at the same time, they're also both of their own thing honestly. You'll see what I mean as you'll scroll down.

If I had anybody to talk about who was most frustrating to talk to out of the Punirunes FB group so far, it would have to be Anita Iglbæk in my book, and look, I get it that their English is rough that's also not their first language either, but there's something about Anita that puts me off (despite I did fully help them that I'll admit that wasn't too bad the first time when it came to the codes/passwords themselves, but with this though, it's a different story)...

Okay, on what Anita was actually referring to (despite also giving that certain toy the wrong name honestly that I gotta criticize about) was about Punitomo Tsushin that they had the pink and blue versions of the toys, but I decided to not share the photo that's attached to the message itself like I'm stealing it from them without their permission but here's on what they toys look like for those that don't know on what I'm talking about:

To say this simply, just say "Punitomo" for short if you're referring to that certain Punirunes toy alone! That also doesn't mean you gotta confuse people like this, man. Even I've tried to help them as I could like getting the PDF file for them... Heck, as of now, I still have yet to translate the characters for the newest Punirunes toy (AKA "Punistal") as I'm gonna do that soon hopefully sometime that's near the release or just right after the release (like the end of June or sometime in July that I'll make a post about that). But like I've said in one of my messages for this certain chat up there, when I say I don't have a Punitomo, I honestly don't have it! Like I gotta help you people step by step with everything?! Look, I'm not no freakin' AI for sure, but whenever you're bringing up "Punirunes Tamagotchi Super Japanese", I'm sure that any AI you talk to isn't gonna be so sure on what the heck you're talking about in the first place! 

And I'm just saying. Speaking of Punistal, I hope Anita doesn't call it "Mega Crystal Japanese" or something like that. 🤦‍♀️ Because if that's the case, I'm gonna get 'em for that... No joke.

~My Little Jungle Book Collection~

 While I'm not that much of a collector off of various things that I really love throughout the years, the closest thing to something like that I came across was my love for Walt Disney's one heck of a jungle jumpin' movie called; "The Jungle Book"! Even I became quite a big fan of this movie since my teen years back in the middle 2010's and still quite a fan to this day! But hey, it's a collection that could be small, but is quite worthy of something to me (regardless of the comparisons to others out there).

Most of these were taken by me aside from the poster that was taken by my mom some years ago before she passed away in late 2022. And the book by Andreas Deja is basically pretty recent one into my collection as I got it last year on Amazon. Speaking of Amazon, there's other Jungle Book stuff being sold on there like the books and same exact VHS tape as I got on there that a few of the books like the Little Library and Little Golden Books versions were from Goodwill as I remember getting them as a kid/teen some years ago alongside getting that Disney's Wonderful World of Reading version that's from one of my public schools that I've bought with the "school money" in my area (as it was called: "Walbridge Bucks" in that one school that I went to at the time if I'm not mistaken there as some of my childhood memories can be foggy to remember nowadays).

As for the VHS tape, it was given to me by one of my parents (I think so I can have it in my room as I used to have a Quasar "Video Viewer" TV ever since I was a teen back in the middle 2010's to watch VHS tapes and DVDs in my room that unfortunately ended up not working anymore after earlier this year as the last time I watched the TV was likely back in the ending of January of this year when I finally got to watch that Tenacious D movie) and I totally wasn't ready for it to gone already despite it did have a solid decade run as for now. Even the one light went out on the "PROG. TIMER" part also meaning that it's no longer working (that I usually see it all the time just constantly blinking there when the TV did actually work). Not to mention that setting up the DVD part (like hooking up a DVD player) wasn't pretty easy to go through either!

But instead of talking about the loss of my TV even further, if you look at my blog posts about which Disney movie I tend to post/talk about the most, I feel like "The Jungle Book" needs no introduction as to why it's such a beloved movie by me. Through the moments like during the songs or some character moments, I gotta say without a doubt, this movie is pretty fun that's worth revisiting again and again!

P.S. I used to have the sequel on VHS that I also got from Goodwill (AKA "The Jungle Book 2"), but after sometime went by on not wanting to own the sequel on VHS for some reasons like on how Shere Khan was brought back as the "main villain" just for fan service and the reintroduction of its many characters including adding a new vulture in that's voice by one of my favorite music artists, Phil Collins...? Well, with the context on how the vultures were made as they were purely based on the Beatles at the time, I agree that this doesn't make sense just by randomly adding Phil into their group honestly... Perhaps they missed out on Ozzy Osbourne (who is quite a fan of them honestly) being a vulture to make a joke in there or something like that. But if you wanna hear my thoughts about Jungle Book 2 a bit more, I think it was okay and of course, it wasn't really a great film unlike the first movie was in my book. Despite its flaws, I think it did have some little moments in there like that "W-I-L-D" song (mainly sung by John Goodman as Baloo) was a fun little ditty for what it was, but definitely it's no "Bare Necessities" or "I Wan'na Be Like You" at the same time. Plus, I think "More Jungle Book"  is a better written "what if" sequel than what we actually gotten so far. Even it has King Louie in there without having the need to cut him out!

Punirunes x CEC: Two Live-Action Edits

Like a little visitor in my room! 

Well, not the most "glamorous-looking" live-action edits out there, but it was worth it to give it a shot (even though I don't have Photoshop at all and these were both made in Google Slides along with one of those background remover sites honestly). And I feel like live-action edits need to be made more often to have some fun with your drawings at the very least.

Speaking of live-action stuff, Punirunes had a little live-action short (that's in Japanese btw) that's worth a watch in my book alongside it's been years that Avenger Chuck is drawn respectfully into 2D with this live-action style just like within the commercials back in the day. Plus, some kind of shading would've looked better (if I was more into digital art by now).
