Yes, this is a screenshot from my FB feed that I've taken and it feels like Timon and Pumbaa are reacting to this that I find it somewhat funny to post about it for some reason. Plus, I won't be revealing the OPs who posted these two pics.
And here's a line that I've just imagine that Timon would say to the OG PPG...
Timon: "Whoa, whoa, whoa, you girls! You don't have to be THAT brutal towards your future selves like that! Even if they're not as considered of being the "greatest heroes" like many of your fans would say and so on."
Yeah, even I'm just starting to get sick and tired of seeing that freakin' hate art/hate edit being posted on FB lately... And I just don't think it's that cool or funny to like that kind of pic at all. But don't get me wrong here, that reboot had some pretty whacked stuff that I've heard about as to why I can see the hate coming from the fans who loved the OG show. And thank god it isn't that live-action reboot that would've made things much worse than it already is as the franchise would've been killed by now if that CW show was ever a thing to exist as if it was released at some point. As for onto where that hate edit/hate art originally came from, I'm so not linking that one in this blog post! But instead of finding the source as to where that hate art/hate edit originally came from, go look it up yourself by reverse image search or check out this link.
Plus, I'm also glad that the recent "Jellystone!" crossover special didn't go the "hate art" route on having OG Bubbles just beating the cr*p out of her reboot counterpart as she was likely slapping her instead of beating her up.
