Yep, basically my response to that and probably this is one of the reasons as to why there are 70 Miis in the new game rather than 100 like in the previous games since it's hard to keep up on keeping your Miis happy all the time whenever something's happening with them within seconds! Especially during the day that might trigger this more often.
And this is why I'll hesitate or even refuse calling Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream a "cozy game" since the Miis act more like humanized virtual pets with moody attitudes.
Note: They usually say this whenever they're sad or grumpy/irritated with the lines floating around their heads as that'll be a lot more common whenever you got more Miis on your island. Not when they're depressed or angry. Just would've been nice if they didn't say this pretty often as they're could've been a way to shut them up if they are that vocal about it. And it doesn't help with little to no context provided for whatever put the Mii itself off as you tap on their recent thought bubble.
